Qualities according to the manufacturer:
The colour is dark red, opaque. The aroma is multi-layered; dark ripe fruit and vanilla, leather.
Yatrus Rubin fully unfolds the hidden power of the Bulgarian variety. The body is very well structured, yet not irritating and the tannins promise an excellent development of wine in the bottle for at least 5 years.

Qualities and assessment according to DiVino (February 2012):
A deep dark garnet colour with soft brick gleams. A rich, complex nose with plenty of sweet spices, dried meat, roasted pepper and tea leaves. A noble taste with a medium body, melted and delicate, with caressing tannins and a long, attractive finish, with a memory of dried fruit, tobacco leaf, earth. A beautifully developed wine that is in excellent condition to drink now, but can be stored for two or three more years. An excellent wine.
